MDR Hotel is a WIN
We were coming to California for our annual visit and I have to say this hotel was wonderful. I knew I wanted to stay in MDR and I’m glad we chose this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and the staff was very attentive. We loved the location and I enjoyed quiet morning walks at the marina. The hotel’s gym was pretty standard but very clean and I used it almost every day we were there. Hotel breakfast and coffee was also a delight. I’d definitely stay here again!

Nice little gem in the marina
We really liked the hotel, the 24hr valet service is worth it since you paying $52/night regardless, and the staff was always friendly and present. The hotel's location is great because you walk out the front doors and you're in the marina and there's several shops/restaurants within walking distance. Our kids got sick on the trip and we had to cut it short, but the pool did look nice and we would've liked to see how the outdoor eating at the hotel was. Would definitely go back on our next trip to LA.

The hotel itself is gorgeous, love the location. However, my air conditioning wasn't working so I had to switch rooms at 12am. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating but it was just a bummer to deal with that so late at night. When I was checking out, the front desk didn't even ask me how my stay was.
